Unfortunately, most often than not, it is a bad idea that ends up with a fashion catastrophe. As you cannot relieve or repeat your wedding, such a women will have to watch photographs from a ruined wedding for the rest of her life. If you stick with the tradition, however, you exclude such risk. After all, a white gown has proven itself to be beautiful enough times to know that it is a safe bet.
